Andjela Lazic is a Serbian producer and PhD researcher in Film and Media at Lusófona University, where she researches horror, mediation, and curatorial storytelling. She works as a junior researcher at CICANT and mentors students in the FILMEU bachelor Pathfinder program. Her background spans fiction and documentaries across Europe, including festival-screened shorts. A genre-driven practitioner, she develops international projects in horror, queer cinema, and hybrid forms while working as a development producer for Varda Pictures and Cinnamon Films. Her current doctoral work explores the Yugoslav Black Wave through the lens of horror and media archaeology.
